What do we do?

Conference 2024

We hosted our first ever in person conference in Ghent, BE in May 2024. More reflections on the conference will be written.

This was done as part of the AEC ARTEMIS project, a Creative Europe funded project.

With DSF in Brussels

The Cultural Exchange Bootcamp between EPASA and DSF kicked off in Brussels in January 2024!

Funded by Erasmus+, we are bringing together young artists from Denmark and the wider EU to facilitate knowledge exchange and build their capacity in EDI and democratic structures so that they can be concrete change makers in their local communities.

The programme included a trip to European Parliament with a discussion with APAs, then a workshop run by ESU. The next day we were kindly hosted by the AEC where we had workshops run by Greenpeace and Guillermo Rodriguez.

At AEC Congress

We attended the AEC's Annual Congress, hosted in Den Haag, NL.

We ran and actively participated in many sessions, with topics including diversity, AI in learning and teaching, quality assurance, and many more.

We also had a student summit - bringing together 30+ students to discuss our priorities for the coming year. This was done as part of the AEC ARTEMIS project.

EPASA Conference 2023

We held our first-ever conference which brought together talented students from member institutions of AEC. The event served as a platform for discussing crucial topics shaping the future of performing arts education and exploring the transformative power of conservatories in society. EPASA is immensely grateful for the invaluable support extended by AEC.

Under the theme of “Fostering Change: Empowering Performing Arts Students,” the conference delved into a diverse range of thought-provoking subjects, sparking engaging discussions and igniting fresh ideas. Through lectures delivered by students, the conference offered a unique perspective on critical areas including advocacy, embracing diversity, digitisation, student representation, and sustainable practices.
